Schedule

4x10s with a flexible start time between 6:30 AM - 7:30 AM. On-call availability is preferred for up to 10 days/month, with an average of 6 days. Call begins at either 5 PM or 7 PM and ends at 6:30 AM, with a 30-minute response requirement.

Job Description

The Registered Radiology Technologist RT(R)/Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) serves as a member of the Cardiovascular Catheterization Team. You will independently perform technical duties associated with procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab, assist physicians during procedures, and support nursing staff with patient care activities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the Catheterization Laboratory and equipment for procedures, maintain supply inventory, and support a clean environment of care.
• Function as scrub assistant during diagnostic, interventional, and all other procedures performed in the Cath Lab.
• Operate hemodynamic monitoring and control room operations during procedures; ensure accurate recordkeeping.
• Provide high-quality radiographic imaging, including quality assurance and radiation safety.
• Review documentation, including procedure orders and patient medical records; explain procedures and provide a high level of patient experience.
• Maintain records of images, reports, equipment maintenance, and inventory control.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of Radiology Technology program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist through AART.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience; 2 or more years preferred.
