Registered Nurse - OB/GYN

Schedule

Night shift from 19:00 to 07:00, with weekend hours every other week.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide care in the OB/GYN unit, ensuring high-quality medical services to patients in active labor and couplet care settings.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support patients during labor and delivery.
• Manage patient care in the OB/GYN unit, including assessment and intervention.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Provide education and support to patients and families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have a valid nursing license and present certifications in BLS, ACLS, NRP, and STABLE.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience with a preference for candidates with travel experience.
• Demonstrated capability to float to other units as needed.
• Candidate must pass Iowa SING background check, including criminal and child abuse checks.
• Mandatory reporter certification (Child and Adult) and a 10-panel drug test, including opiates, are required.
• Recent titers (within the last 12 months) for MMR, Hep B, Varicella, and TB.
