12-hour Night Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Respiratory Therapist to join our team on the night shift. In this role, you will provide respiratory care to patients of all ages, from neonates to adults, in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and assess patients' respiratory status and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Operate respiratory equipment such as ventilators and monitoring systems.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide optimal patient care.
• Participate in patient and family education regarding respiratory health and therapy.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience in respiratory therapy.
• Current BLS, NRP, and NBRC certifications.
• Experience with EPIC documentation system within the past two years is required.
• New York State respiratory therapy license or proof of application.
• Experience with neonatal and pediatric populations is preferred.
