Day shift, 4x10 hour schedule (06:45 - 17:15)

Job Description

The Operating Room Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care in the surgical environment. This position will float between units and may be required to cover at an outpatient surgical center. The RN will participate in on-call rotations as needed to meet departmental needs, which may include weeknights or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Proficiently circulate pediatric, ENT, and plastic surgery cases.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with surgical teams and ensure effective communication.
• Follow all protocols for infection control and patient care.
• Participate in continuous education and training as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid WA or Compact RN license required at the time of submission.
• Previous charge experience and ability to handle patient ratios effectively.
• Certifications: CNOR, BLS required.
• Proficient in all neurosurgical procedures, including craniotomies and complex spine.
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
