Schedule

3 × 12 hour shifts; 12 hours per shift from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM. Weekend coverage every 3rd week and potential holidays.

Job Description

The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with NICU and PEDS experience will provide a range of respiratory services. Responsibilities include initiating and managing invasive and non-invasive ventilation, administering nebulized medications and MDIs, performing arterial blood collection and reporting, and conducting airway management.

Responsibilities

• Administer nebulizer medication and Meter Dose Inhalers (MDI) for all age groups.
• Initiate and manage invasive and non-invasive ventilation for neonates through geriatrics.
• Conduct arterial blood collection, analysis, and reporting.
• Assist with intubation, bedside bronchoscopies, and tracheostomy care.
• Provide internal transport and high flow oxygen therapy for patients.
• Deliver bronchopulmonary hygiene and oxygen therapy.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RRT license required in PA.
• ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications are mandatory.
• NICU and PEDS experience is essential.
