Nursing Position - 3 × 12 Hour Shifts

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shifts primarily consist of 3 twelve-hour shifts, with the potential for 2 twelve-hour and 2 eight-hour shifts. The typical hours are from 10:30 AM to 11:00 PM for 12-hour shifts, and primarily second shift hours for the 2 twelve-hour and 2 eight-hour shifts. Weekend shifts are assigned to ensure equal distribution among staff, and third shift weekends will be on a rotating basis from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Holidays will be required as needed but will be shared among all staff working on holidays.

Job Description

The position involves providing care in a fast-paced patient environment. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care, ensuring adherence to healthcare standards and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to the medical team.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

GE experience is preferred but is not required for the position. Candidates must possess the appropriate nursing licensure for the state of practice.
