Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Acute Care Float Pool will provide comprehensive nursing care across various medical-surgical floors, including but not limited to Orthopedic, Neurology Step Down, Oncology, Surgical Telemetry, and Med-Surg Telemetry. The RN must be willing to float to multiple locations, including our West Lakes Campus, to meet patient care needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in accordance with established standards and protocols.
• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to facilitate optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by providers.
• Conduct patient education and discharge planning.
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license required.
• Float Pool experience preferred but not mandatory.
• Current BLS certification.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
