CT Technologist - 3x12.0 Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to coordinate with physicians and provide diagnostic imaging. The ideal candidate will prepare patients for scans and ensure their comfort while adhering to departmental policies and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identity and exam verification prior to scans.
• Coordinate with physicians and assist in diagnostic imaging.
• Prepare and educate patients about procedures.
• Insert IVs as necessary for tests.
• Position patients appropriately for scans, ensuring safe handling.
• Maintain accurate patient records within the EPIC system.
• Ensure a clean and safe scanning environment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Registered in New York State with injection therapy certification.
• Completion of formal training in Radiologic Technology.
• Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Two (2) years of Level 1 Trauma Center experience.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Experience with Siemens and Philips scanning equipment preferred.
• Familiarity with the EPIC system is highly desired.
