Telemetry Nurse with Cardiac Experience

12-hour shift, primarily days, but night shifts may be requested.

Job Description

The unit primarily handles telemetry patients, including chest pain, CHF, COPD, post-cardiac catheterization and pacemaker insertion patients, stroke patients, as well as NSTEMI and STEMI cases post-ICU. General medical patients are also cared for, and nurses are expected to manage all types of patients described.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients on telemetry, delivering high-quality care.
• Float to rehabilitation and skilled nursing units as needed.
• Provide care and support for patients recovering from cardiac procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have Cardiac experience.
• Current ACLS and BLS certification.
• NIHSS certification preferred.
• Valid nursing license required.
