Job Description

Seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room Nurse for a position requiring active PA licensure and robust clinical experience. The successful candidate will provide exceptional perioperative care, ensuring patient safety and adherence to best practices in a dynamic surgical environment.

Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate for all types of cardiovascular procedures.
• Assist in surgeries including cardiac and thoracic cases.
• Collaborate with surgical teams and coordinate care pre, during, and post-surgery.
• Handle on-call duties as required, including weekends and holidays.
• Maintain high standards of infection control and patient safety protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• PA state license required at the time of submission.
• 3+ years of experience in a cardiovascular operating room setting.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Experience in a Level I Trauma facility is mandatory.
• Charge nurse experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with Cerner charting system is required.
