Registered Respiratory Therapist

This position is located in South Carolina.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

This role requires a night shift schedule of 3x12 hours, from 19:00 to 07:30. Weekend work is required, usually not more than every other weekend. Call requirements include up to 2 call shifts per 6-week schedule.

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated team player who is a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). The position involves working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality respiratory care to patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy and care to patients, including emergency response and critical care support.
• Perform procedures including intubation, extubation, and suctioning.
• Monitor and manage ventilators and other respiratory equipment.
• Provide pulmonary hygiene and respiratory therapy administration.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have one year of charge experience in respiratory therapy.
• Experience with Epic charting system is required.
• ACLS, BLS, and RRT certifications are required.
• Experience in Adult Critical Care preferred.
