Schedule

1.0 FTE, 40 hours per week, consisting of 2 shifts of 8 hours and 2 shifts of 12 hours with a rotation between day and evening shifts. Weekly on-call requirement with a 30-minute response time, including occasional weekends and holidays.

Job Description

Join a dynamic surgical team at a Level I Trauma Center renowned for its cutting-edge facilities and multi-service lines. As an Operating Room Nurse, you will work in a fast-paced environment managing a variety of surgical cases including ortho trauma, neuro procedures, and robotic surgeries.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preoperative and postoperative care of patients.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care.
• Manage a daily case load of 80-120 surgical procedures.
• Utilize robotic surgical techniques where applicable.
• Ensure effective sterilization and preparation of surgical instruments and equipment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse, Registered Nurse, or completion of a Surgical Technology program.
• Basic Life Support certification (AHA).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the operating room, specifically with strong orthopedic, neuro, trauma, and robotics experience (DaVinci).
