Schedule

Night shift, 3x12-hour schedule (19:00 - 07:00). Weekends are required, with a total of 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week period.

Job Description

The Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (MS RN) will provide care in a Short Term Acute Care environment, floating between units as necessary. This role will involve managing patient care while meeting the expected patient ratio of 1:5.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care in accordance with established protocols.
• Participate in patient assessments and care planning.
• Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of charge experience.
• Familiarity with charting in Epic is required.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications are necessary.
• Compact nursing license must be in hand at submission.
