Job Description

The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. This role involves planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care based on patient needs. The nurse will identify patient needs and prioritize care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plans of care for assigned patients.
• Initiate assessments based on patient problems, physician diagnoses, and functional health frameworks.
• Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage patient care effectively.
• Document care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and clinical priorities.
• Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards and support the adoption of innovations in care delivery.
• Provide patient-centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice models.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of critical care, pre-op, and Recovery/PACU experience required.
• Strong background in Telemetry and must be telemetry certified.
• New Jersey State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications from AHA required.
