Day Shift: 4x10 Hour Schedule (11:30 AM - 10:00 PM)

Job Description

The Surgical Services RN will provide high-quality patient care in the operating room setting, with a focus on scrub and circulation duties. This position requires strong skills in various surgical specialties, especially orthopedics, urology, podiatry, and neurosurgery.

Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate during surgical procedures
• Assist in maintaining sterile conditions in the operating room
• Provide support and care to patients pre- and post-operatively
• Collaborate with surgical team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1+ years of current acute care OR experience required
• Experience in scrub and circulate roles with solid skills in orthopedics required
• BLS certification required; ACLS and CNOR preferred
• Active NJ or Compact nursing license required

On-Call Requirement

• 5 calls per month (3:30 PM - 7:00 AM, Mon-Fri)
• Weekend on-call from 7:00 AM Saturday to 7:00 AM Monday
