Day 3x12 Shift (07:00 - 19:30), floating required per facility needs. Weekend requirement includes every other weekend and holiday.

Job Description

Seeking a qualified LPN/LVN with acute care experience for a 13-week contract position in New York. This role requires proficiency in medication administration, management of dysrhythmias, and non-invasive airway management, along with adherence to isolation precautions.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and monitor patient status
• Interpret dysrhythmias and manage patients accordingly
• Utilize Rapid Response/Code teams effectively
• Provide care for patients requiring oxygen administration and peripheral line management
• Communicate patient status changes to RNs and physicians

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year recent acute care experience required
• Current NY State License
• BLS certification and completion of 8 hours of stroke education required
