Job Description

The PCU/Telemetry Registered Nurse is responsible for providing care to patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy and procedures. The Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for the safe delivery of care.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.
• Delegate patient care priorities based on the education and experience of the staff available.
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ACLS Certification
• BLS Certification
• PALS Certification
• Stoke Certification
• Navy Scrubs required
