Schedule

Monday through Friday, 6:45 AM - 3:15 PM, with call expectations of every 3rd day and at least 1 to 2 weekends per month.

Job Description

The Surgical Technologist will assist in both the General OR and CVOR, primarily supporting surgical teams during procedures. When there are no CVOR cases, assisting in the General OR will be an expectation. Candidates will be clinically screened to determine fit before final approval.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgical teams in the operating room.
• Prepare and maintain the sterile field during surgery.
• Manage and pass surgical instruments to the surgeon.
• Participate in patient care related to surgical procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of surgical technologist experience.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• EPIC charting system experience strongly preferred.
• Must be able to care for COVID patients if necessary.
