Day shifts, 3x12 hours (07:00 - 19:30) with every other weekend required.

Job Description

The Cath Lab RN will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the cardiac catheterization laboratory, utilizing advanced medical equipment and techniques. Candidates should possess strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with cardiac catheterizations, interventional procedures, and patient monitoring.
• Prepare patients for procedures and provide post-procedure care.
• Administer medications and monitor patient vitals and responses during procedures.
• Maintain a sterile field and ensure all equipment is prepared and functioning.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cardiac catheterization lab.
• ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications required.
• Active NJ or Compact nursing license required at time of submission.
• Experience with equipment such as Merge Hemodynamics, ACIST, and IABP is preferred.
