This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Will be working 3 shifts of 12 hours one week and 3 shifts of 12 hours the next week, followed by an 8-hour shift, totaling 80 hours biweekly. A minimum of every other weekend is required.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to provide excellent patient care in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The position requires flexibility in scheduling to meet the needs of the unit and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the emergency room setting.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and vital signs.
• Collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement care plans.
• Assist in performing emergency medical procedures as necessary.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 1 year of in-unit experience required.
• AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications required.
• New York Nursing License or proof of application required.
• EPIC experience within the past 2 years is mandatory.
• Preferred certifications: CEN, ENPC, CPEN, ABLS.
