Job Description

The Respiratory Therapist will provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients from neonate to adult populations. This includes operating advanced respiratory equipment and ensuring optimal patient outcomes. The candidate should be flexible and willing to support various units as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver respiratory therapy to patients of all ages.
• Operate and monitor respiratory equipment such as ventilators and other therapeutic devices.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to assess patient needs and develop treatment plans.
• Education and support to patients and their families regarding respiratory health.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Must possess an NRP certification or have experience in the neonatal/pediatric population.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• NY state licensure required prior to start date.
• EPIC experience from within the past two years is mandatory.
