Surgical Technologist - Days Shift

12-hour day shifts, with weekends as scheduled.

Job Description

The Surgical Technologist will be working in a surgical unit with a total of 11 rooms, including 8 Operating Room (OR) Suites and 3 Endo Suites, averaging approximately 25 cases per day from a total of 65 cases. The facility handles a variety of surgical cases, excluding open heart surgeries. Procedures include vascular (excluding open hearts), general surgery, orthopedic, neuro, eyes, and ENT. Experience with the DaVinci Robot is highly desired as they have recently incorporated this technology. The position requires adherence to ACLS standards due to modern sedation practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures by providing support to the surgical team.
• Prepare and maintain the sterile field throughout procedures.
• Ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are available and functioning.
• Collaborate effectively with nurses and physicians to ensure quality patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current BLS (AHA) certification.
• Experience with DaVinci Robot preferred.
• Must have an unexpired driver's license due to the 50-mile radius rule.
