Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Surgical Telemetry Nurse to join our team in a 30-bed unit specializing in Med/Surg, Telemetry, and Stroke care. The role involves primary and team nursing responsibilities. Agency nurses will float first within the unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and telemetry readings.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on care procedures and health maintenance.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active State License Verification required.
• Must have MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza Vaccine, Varicella, Tdap, and TB Test documentation.
• Completion of the Arnot Skills Checklist and Arnot Core Competency Exam will be needed for onboarding.
• Driver's License or State ID required for identification purposes.
• Agency background check and drug screen necessary prior to starting position.
