Surgical Technologist - Night Shift

Location

This position is based in a Level 1 Trauma facility.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule / Shift

All shifts will be rotating, including days, evenings, and nights. Call and weekends are required, with response time of 30 minutes.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Surgical Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various surgical specialties and be capable of scrubbing all types of cases.

Responsibilities

• Scrub in for surgical procedures across all specialties, including General, Orthopedic, Neurological, Vascular, Trauma, Robotics, and Transplant.
• Assist surgical teams by providing the necessary instruments, sutures, and supplies.
• Maintain a sterile field and ensure proper handling of instruments and equipment.
• Participate in pre-operative and post-operative procedures as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of surgical experience in the operating room, with a preference for 3 years.
• Experience in a Level 1 Trauma facility for at least 1 year out of the last 3 years.
• At least 1 year of travel experience within the last 3 years.
• Certification with NBSTSA or NCCT is required.
