Stepdown/PCU Registered Nurse - 12 Hour Night Shifts

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Stepdown/PCU Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to patients with cardiac conditions, post-pneumonia, and other critical diagnoses. The ideal candidate will have experience in cardiac monitoring and management of cardiac drips.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients receiving cardiac drips.
• Titrate medications such as Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Heparin, Dopamine, and Dobutamine as necessary.
• Collaborte with the charge nurse and support staff to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Assist with daily living activities and basic patient care duties.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of Stepdown/PCU nursing experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips.
• Comfort with troubleshooting respiratory equipment and cardiac monitoring.
