Schedule

Typical shifts include 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, and 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM. Call required three times in a four-week block, with weekends every 7th or 8th weekend.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist proficient in orthopedic and general surgery procedures. This role involves working in a busy operating room consisting of various surgical specialties, with an emphasis on total joint procedures, general surgeries, and urology.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures by preparing and maintaining sterile fields.
• Scrub and circulate during orthopedic and general surgeries.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure efficient workflow in the operating room.
• Manage instrumentation and equipment safely and effectively.
• Participate in call rotation and weekend shifts as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Proficiency in orthopedic, general, and urology surgical procedures.
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist via NBSTSA is preferred.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an operating room setting is preferred.
