Day shifts, 3x12-hour schedule from 07:00 to 19:30.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Telemetry Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years of experience in telemetry nursing. The ideal candidate will have experience with rhythm interpretation and critical care scenarios, having demonstrated expertise in managing diverse patient populations within telemetry units.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient vital signs and telemetry readings regularly.
• Identify and interpret cardiac rhythms, addressing abnormalities proactively.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to maintain optimal patient care.
• Provide patient education and support for treatment plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• New York State RN License in hand.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Must pass a hospital proctored test with >80% accuracy in rhythm identification and 100% accuracy in identifying critical rhythms.
• Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of telemetry nursing experience, with a strong background in managing critical drips and CVA patients.
