Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide care in a Medical-Surgical / Telemetry Unit, catering to a diverse patient population from young adults to geriatrics. The nurse will be responsible for evaluating patient conditions, administering medications, and monitoring vital signs, ensuring high-quality healthcare delivery.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient needs in a telemetry setting.
• Manage care for patients with a variety of medical conditions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
• Perform emergency interventions when necessary.
• Document patient care accurately using Epic charting system.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and health management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
• Experience with Epic charting system is required.
• Certification in NIHSS and BLS.
• Travel nursing experience preferred.
