Emergency Room Nurse (ER RN) - Evening Shift

Schedule

Shift times are 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM, with rotating self-scheduling. Weekend and holiday requirements apply.

Job Description

The Emergency Room Nurse will provide high-quality nursing care to adult and pediatric patients in a busy Emergency Department. The nurse will be responsible for managing various patient conditions and collaborating with healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments and manage patient care in a fast-paced environment.
• Administer medications and treatments as per departmental protocols.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide patient-centered care.
• Educate patients and families on health management and disease prevention.
• Handle critical care scenarios efficiently while maintaining patient safety.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience, with at least 1 year in Emergency Department settings.
• New York State RN license or proof of application.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS (must be current).
• Experience with Epic EHR system is required.
