Full-time, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. No weekends, no holidays, and no on-call duties.

Job Description

The Cath Lab Manager is accountable for the effective and efficient running of the Cath Lab, which includes EP, Neuro, Vascular, and Cardiac DAR. This position is responsible for patient throughput, staff performance, and all components affecting cath lab flow and capacity. The manager will ensure compliance with regulatory and accrediting agencies, maintain patient safety, and improve procedural efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee schedules and daily assignments for team members.
• Collaborate with Cardiac Cath Supervisor and Lead Tech in daily operations.
• Supervise efficient patient flow from the various procedural areas.
• Identify and respond effectively to shift-related problems.
• Enhance Cath Lab utilization and procedural efficiency.
• Monitor compliance with internal and external regulatory standards.
• Ensure adherence to risk management and patient rights regulations.
• Develop and monitor unit-based outcome indicators.
• Direct staff in the application of evidence-based practices.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 5 years of experience in a cardiac catheterization laboratory.
• 10 years of experience in clinical cardiology.
• Current endovascular/cardiac catheterization experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program (Master’s preferred).
• NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License.
• AHA Basic Health Care Life Support Certification.
• AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification.
