Med/Surg Travel Nurse - Night Shift

Night shift, 12 hours, 3 days a week.

Job Description

This position is for a Med/Surg Travel Nurse on a dedicated education unit where travel nurses will focus on patient care instead of education. The unit consists of 30 beds featuring mixed Med/Surg patients with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 5-6:1.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg patients.
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor and document patient conditions accurately.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Communicate promptly with nursing staff and physicians regarding patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
• Experience in a level 1 trauma or mid to large hospital setting.
• BLS certification required, ACLS certification preferred.
• Must possess a positive attitude and be timely.
