Surgical Trauma Nursing Position

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, 12 hours, 3 days a week. Must be willing to work given shifts with no block schedules.

Job Description

Seeking an experienced nurse to join a high acuity surgical trauma floor. The patient population includes spinal neuro trauma surgical cases, gunshot wounds, quadriplegics, and paraplegics. The role involves providing comprehensive care and support to critically injured patients in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high acuity environment.
• Monitor and assess patients' conditions and vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty required.
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• EPIC experience is required.
• Must present a complete candidate profile including work history, skills checklist, references, certification card, and Nursys license verification.
• Demographic information must be loaded into the profile, including a badge-appropriate picture.
