12-hour night shifts; rotating weekends and holidays as scheduled. Commitment to six weekend shifts per four-week schedule is required.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide outstanding respiratory care in our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). The ideal candidate will work a flexible schedule, encompassing night shifts with weekends and holidays as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory treatments and therapies to pediatric and neonatal patients.
• Operate and manage various ventilators, including Hamilton and Servo models.
• Perform airway management and assist with intrahospital transport of patients.
• Utilize respiratory equipment and techniques such as aerosolized medications, cough assist, and NAVA.
• Participate in patient care rounds and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Two or more years of experience in a PICU and/or a Level III or greater NICU setting.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP.
• RRT preferred; CRT may be considered based on experience.
