Night Shift (NOC) - 19:00 to 07:30, 3 × 12 hour shifts per week, totaling 36 hours/week.

Job Description

RNs will provide care to ICU boarders located in the PACU unit. The expected patient population will primarily consist of trauma overflow patients. While previous trauma training is not required, the RN may need to float to the Emergency Department for ICU holds or to other ICU/Stepdown units based on need and patient census.

Responsibilities

• Assess, implement, and evaluate patient care under the direction of licensed physicians.
• Use the nursing process to collaborate with patients, their families, and other healthcare team members to individualize care.
• Direct nursing support staff in the provision of patient care according to nursing practice standards and departmental policies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (required).
• Bachelor's Degree in nursing (preferred).
• 1 year experience in the area of clinical specialty (preferred).
• PA Registered Nurse License (required).
• Basic Life Support certification (required).
