LPN Medical Surgical - Night Shift

Schedule

Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with every other weekend and holiday requirements.

Job Description

We are seeking a licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with acute care experience to join our Medical Surgical team. The successful candidate will provide direct patient care, perform assessments, and collaborate with RNs in a fast-paced medical environment.

Responsibilities

• Taking own patient assignments with support from RNs.
• Conducting vital sign monitoring and pain assessments.
• Administering medications and IV therapy.
• Providing wound care and managing feeding tubes.
• Communicating patient status changes to the healthcare team.
• Adhering to isolation precautions and safety protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active New York Single State LPN License (no compact license accepted).
• BLS Certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience within the last 2 years.
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system is mandatory.
