Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ICU Nurse to provide high-quality care during the night shifts. The role involves managing critically ill patients and requires the ability to float within the department as needed by management.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to any changes promptly.
• Administer medications and IV therapies as prescribed.
• Assist in the management of ventilated patients and administer blood products.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have at least 3 years of current ICU experience.
• New York State License required.
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Proficient in ECG rhythm identification with a pass rate of 80%.
• Experience with Epic charting is preferred.
