Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Travel RN Med Surg to join our team. This position involves working on the 4th and 5th floors of a medical facility, providing care for patients with various medical surgical needs.

Responsibilities

• Manage a workload of 5:1 (4th Floor) or 6:1 (5th Floor) patient ratios.
• Utilize equipment including remote telemetry monitors, capnography devices, Alaris IV pumps, glucometers, and dynamaps.
• Perform a variety of medical procedures including abdominal surgeries, diagnostic procedures, heart catheterizations, and orthopedic trauma repairs.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Telemetry experience
• Med Surg experience
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Strong time management skills
• Ability to float to various units as needed (Inpatient rehab, ED, PCU)
