Night Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Job Description

The ICU Registered Nurse will provide critical care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit. The nurse will be expected to float to various units as necessary, adhering to the needs of the department.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, vital signs, and treatment plans.
• Manage CRRT and Prismaflex therapies.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and collaborate with healthcare professionals.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and treatment options.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in ICU, SICU, CTICU, Trauma ICU, MS ICU, or Neuro ICU.
• Current AHA ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Active RN license in New York and all other active licenses.
• Experience with EMR systems, specifically EPIC.
• Prior experience with CRRT and Prismaflex is required.
