Schedule

AM shifts with three 11.5-hour shifts per week (35 hours total). Shift times are from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM with a 60-minute unpaid lunch.

Job Description

The ER Hold Registered Nurse will provide care for tele patients and float as needed to other medical/surgical units. The role requires occasional floating to the Emergency Department to care for admitted medicine patients, ensuring a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients in the ER Hold unit and other assigned units.
• Monitor and manage tele patients, ensuring accurate reporting and patient care.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience in an ER or similar environment preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Additional certifications in telemedicine or critical care preferred.
