Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our MedSurg/Infectious Disease unit. This role requires strong knowledge in MedSurg, infectious diseases, and isolation precautions, including experience managing patients with a range of infectious conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with infectious diseases.
• Implement isolation precautions as necessary.
• Administer IV medications, antibiotics, and manage patient care in accordance with MedSurg protocols.
• Collaborate with the Charge Nurse and other staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in the orientation and training of new nursing staff and travelers.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current BLS certification.
• Strong knowledge and experience in MedSurg and Infectious Disease nursing.
• Prior travel nursing experience and EPIC experience required.
• Ability to titrate common MedSurg IV medications as needed.
• Willingness to float to other MedSurg units as required.
