Job Description

Under the supervision of the Unit Director, the RN performs patient care functions in accordance with the State of Maine Board of Nursing regulations and health facility policies and procedures. The Clinical Leader or Charge Nurse will provide direct supervision for the assigned shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care functions as authorized by the applicable state regulations.
• Deliver care with compassion and respect for all patients.
• Collaboration with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Supervision of support staff and junior nursing professionals on shift.
• Maintain effective communication with patients, families, and the healthcare team.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Maine RN license.
• BLS and ACLS required within 30 days of hire.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Telemetry experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to multi-task.
