Neuro MedSurg RN - Night Shift

This position is located in West Virginia.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, weekdays and every other weekend.

Job Description

The Neuro MedSurg RN will provide high-quality care to patients with conditions such as CVA, TBI, epidural and subdural hematoma, seizure disorders, and spinal cord injuries. The role requires strong clinical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patient conditions, documenting relevant information.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Float to various units as required, based on facility needs.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in MedSurg or Neuro settings.
• Valid West Virginia or Compact RN License (pending license accepted).
• BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred.
