Registered Nurse - Emergency Care

Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM (3 x 12 hour shifts)

Job Description

The Registered Nurse is an essential member of the patient care team responsible for the delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process in all areas of the unit. The RN will be responsible for assessing patients during admission and throughout their stay, administering IV medications/therapy/blood as needed, providing patient education, and documenting nursing care actions, teaching, observations, and patient responses.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients at admission and continually throughout their stay
• Administer IV medications, therapy, and blood as required
• Provide patient education and support
• Document nursing care actions and patient responses accurately

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1+ years of previous nursing experience required
• At least 1 year of previous critical care nursing experience required
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required
• Candidates with licensure hits will not be considered
