X-Ray Technician

Schedule

12-hour shifts, Saturday and Sunday, from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.

Job Description

The X-Ray Technician will perform diagnostic imaging procedures in various settings, including the Operating Room, Emergency Department, inpatient units, and portable imaging. This role requires the technician to be comfortable working with both adults and children, and a willingness to learn pediatric and neonatal imaging techniques.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiologic and fluoroscopic equipment.
• Evaluate images for technical quality.
• Float between assigned departments as necessary.
• Work with students and perform competency check-offs for their training.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Level 1 trauma facility or 2-3 years in a large Level 2 trauma facility.
• Current BLS and ARRT certification required.
• Graduate from a JRCERT/ARRT approved program.
