36 or 48 hours per week with rotating shifts (Days/Evenings/Nights), including floating, weekends, holidays, on-call, and callback.

Job Description

This position is in a fast-paced Adult Emergency Department (ED), a state-of-the-art facility that manages over 100,000 visits annually and is recognized as one of the busiest trauma centers nationwide. As the only Level I trauma hospital in the area, you will be responsible for treating a diverse patient population and assisting with boarder patients. Please note that first-time travelers will not be accommodated for this role.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department environment.
• Collaborate with medical and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and provide appropriate interventions.
• Assist in the management of boarder patients as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• RN License (New York License ONLY)
• Two (2) years of Emergency Department experience
• Telemetry experience required
• Previous travel ER experience
• Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association ONLY), ACLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
• NIHSS certification preferred
