12-hour night shifts, every other weekend required, 1900-0730. Must work 3 out of 6 major holidays.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide care within a behavioral health setting, focusing on patients with co-occurring mental health disorders and addiction issues. The facility emphasizes a low-violence approach, fostering an environment that prioritizes communication and compassion.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and medication administration.
• Lead medication education groups for patients.
• Assist with admissions and support Multidisciplinary team collaboration.
• Manage care for patients across various units, including locked and medical detox units.
• Utilize physical restraints when necessary, following facility protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a behavioral health or residential rehab setting.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• IV experience is essential; familiarity with suboxone and methadone administration preferred.
• Valid nursing license is required.
