Registered Nurse - Outpatient/Ambulatory Care

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care at the proficient level. The role includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care in accordance with established care standards, under the direction of a licensed physician or medical professional. This position demands contributing to a safe and therapeutic environment centered on the needs of patients and caregivers while demonstrating respect for patient privacy, comfort, and emotional well-being.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing assessment and develop appropriate care plans.
• Implement nursing interventions based on established protocols and care standards.
• Evaluate and document patient progress and response to treatments.
• Ensure a therapeutic environment that meets the patient's emotional and physical needs.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families about care and treatment options.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• 1 year of experience in an outpatient or ambulatory setting preferred.
• Experience with EPIC EMR is preferred.
• Current PA Registered Nurse License required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Multi-State Compact RN License required.

Schedule

This is a full-time position requiring 5 eight-hour shifts per week, totaling 40 hours. The shifts will be part of the AM schedule.
