Job Description

The CT Scan Technologist is responsible for producing diagnostic CT scans, assisting radiologists with procedures, and ensuring optimal patient care while adhering to the vision and mission of the health system. The individual will coordinate daily workflow and assist with patient throughput for emergency, inpatient, and outpatient settings.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality CT scans according to established guidelines and policies.
• Administer IV contrast materials under the direction of the radiologist.
• Perform CT procedures across various patient age groups, including neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
• Coordinate workflow effectively in a high-volume setting.
• Maintain current CPR certification and participate in mandatory in-services.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• American Registry of Radiological Technologists ARRT(R), AART(CT).
• State of Nevada license for Medical Radiography.
• AHA BLS certification within 60 days of hire.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in CT, including trauma.
• Experience with travel assignments preferred.
