Job Description

The Registered Nurse in Labor & Delivery will be responsible for providing high-quality care to obstetric patients in a fast-paced environment. The position requires the ability to float within five hospitals based on staff needs, including experience in both circulating and scrubbing for cesarean sections.

Responsibilities

• Circulate and scrub during cesarean sections.
• Administer care to patients during labor and delivery.
• Monitor and record fetal heart rates, and interpret telemetry data.
• Assist with high-risk deliveries and manage complications.
• Provide support to postpartum patients including education and care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active New Jersey nursing license.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in Labor & Delivery.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications.
• EPIC charting experience.
• Ability to pass a Dysrhythmia test on a PC within 72 hours of signing.
