Operating Room Surgery Position

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift: 5x8-Hour (07:00 - 15:30).

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room surgical professional with expertise in circulating and scrubbing surgical procedures. This role requires a strong background in acute care operating rooms, particularly within a Level 2 Trauma Center setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform circulating and scrubbing duties in the operating room.
• Collaborate with surgical teams across various specialties including orthopedic, vascular, general, thoracic, and neurology surgery.
• Provide support for robotic and ENT surgical procedures.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a sterile environment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of current acute care operating room experience.
• BLS certification required.
• Active NJ or Compact nursing license required at time of submission.
• Prior experience in charge roles preferred.
